Helle Skaarup is a Danish artist based in Aarhus. She has an MA in Fashion design from designskolen Kolding and has previously worked in this field. She started working with the abstract embroidery in 2021.

"I have always had an urge to create and explore. I love working with colors, shapes and tactility. Sometimes I draw the idea of a new piece, but most often I create from emotions and pure intuition, which result in playful, poetic, imperfect and organic pieces that have their own unique expression and history."
